QDP, Inc. Announces 3,000 Sq. Ft. Building Expansion for 100% In-House Tooling

QDP, Inc. is excited to announce the recent expansion of our facility, which adds an additional 3,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing space adjacent and connected to our existing 8,700 sq. ft. facility.  Several updates were made to the addition including new electric service, a fresh coat of paint, and a new floor.  All building improvements were optimally configured to facilitate our expanding capabilities, including in-house tool and die making, large capacity precision CNC machining, and wire EDM.

QDP, Inc. becomes a Federal-Mogul Approved Supplier

QDP has been working with Federal-Mogul’s System Protection Division in Exton, PA developing manufacturing processes and producing prototype parts for close to a year. Having successfully completed the processes and satisfactory prototypes it was time to begin the process of producing production parts. This required QDP, Inc. to have a quality audit to be approved as a supplier of production components. On July 17, 2015 Allen Roman, Sr. Supplier Development Engineer, came to QDP, Inc. to conduct the audit. After the audit we received the following communication from Mr. Roman: “The Supplier Visit Quality System Audit score is 63 out of 63 with no infractions.” We are proud to now be an Approved Supplier to Federal-Mogul.
